Actually even though it's a Monday today isn't so bad. I just wanted to make a quick post about my liiiiife.
Firstly, I read my first book of the year. Part of me is sad that I finished it in a day, but the other part could not resist going more than 5 minutes without knowing what happened next. The book was The Fault in our Stars by John Green. I spent the last 100 pages or so weeping uncontrollably, but it was an amazing book.
Second, I bought lots of new ~exciting things at Target over the weekend. This includes some adorable polka dotted tights, season 1 of The Vampire Diaries, some art supplies for Drawing/3D Design classes, and the first season of Gossip Girl, which I started watching recently on Netflix. I'm already addicted and am going to watch more after I'm done here.
Not much else happened; I finished my first week of school with hardly any homework, and I might have figured out my future over the weekend.
All in all things are going well. I need to stop writing because I'm really hungry and I need time to finish up some things before class later.
Adios

Getting through this winter
Hello hellooooo.
Well, it's hard to believe but January is nearly over! According to Wikipedia, this year's Blue Monday occurred on January 23rd. Fortunately, I spent the day at work and school and was way too busy to even think about being sad. I've been a bit stressed out since the new semester started but at least 3 out of 4 of the classes I'm taking will be super easy. Hopefully this means my GPA will suck just a little bit less.
I can't even begin to wrap my head around the fact that there's only a month left until we start getting warmer weather. February is usually my least favorite month, but I'm going to keep myself busy by drawing and/or watching Gossip Girl on Netflix. (I just watched the pilot yesterday and it's already got me hooked). After February is Sarah Jo's birthday, and The Hunger Games, and spring break! Typing this all out is making me super excited for spring to get here.
Until then, I'll just keep looking at old pictures with green grass and sundresses in them. This year is already better than 2011 was, so hopefully it will stay that way throughout.
All right, I'm off to watch more Gossip Girl (in which I ship everyone with each other). BYEYEYEYE!

Unfortunately I only read 22 books in 2011. Even more terrible is the fact that at least the first 20 were done while I was still in high school. I got busy with my job and school stuff I guess, which by the way, my grades totally suck. But 2012 is a new start and I'm planning on working my butt off this semester.
So, since about 2008 I've been creating blog posts on my various blogs that include a list of interesting things I did last year, and a list of goals I wish to accomplish this year. So here we go:
Things done in 2011:
1. I got into The Hunger Games, which was an amazing and sad series, but totally worth the read. (Thanks to tumblr and my younger sister Sarah for convincing me).
2. I helped my class pull a senior prank in which we covered the hallways in tape and sticky notes and other Dollar Tree items, and then went swimming at my best friend's house until midnight (and during this time was convinced to start watching Doctor Who).
3. I graduated high school and stayed out all night after the grad party.
4. Watched the final Harry Potter movie and cried all the way to the car.
5. Baked an obscene amount of cookies while snowed in during the crazy amount of snow we got here in CT.
6. Was introduced to the world of British television, including Doctor Who, Torchwood, The Catherine Tate Show, Sherlock, Skins, and more recently, Being Human.
7. Got my first job.
8. Finished my first semester of college.
9. I finally found a hair color that I like.
10. I found new bands to love, including Marina and the Diamonds, The Spring Standards, and Angus and Julia Stone.
11. I watched Parks and Recreation, which is literally the happiest show I've ever watched.
12. I started listening to podcasts.
13. I got an iPod that wasn't made in 2005!
14. I became a legal adult.
15. Saw Bon Iver live and it rained and was magical.
16. Went hiking a lot and tried new things.
17. Nearly drowned while tubing in a river but still had a great time.
18. Got most of my family to enjoy Doctor Who with me. ;)
19. Started a new drawing project.
20.I quit Glee. It was a proud moment.
Things to do in 2012:
1. Read 40 books.
2. Get my license.
3. Finish my drawing project, or at least continue it since I'm not sure it will be possible to finish within the year.
4. Get good grades in all my classes.
5. Save my money for school or traveling.
6. Try new things, i.e. I want to do more "adventures" like hiking in new places and such.
7. Exercise more.
8. See The Hunger Games movie at midnight.
9. Bake a cake...in the shape of a TARDIS or something, I don't know.
10. Finish my NaNoWriMo thing that I barely started.
11. Try a new hair color.
12. Start the sibling podcast my sisters and I always talk about.
Okay, I really wanted to start watching Miracle Day before I go to bed, so I'm going to hop off. I might add to the list of goals but for now these are all I can think of.
I had a wonderful year, and I hope everyone else did too.
Here's to 2012, let's make it a good one (since the world is ending in December anyway)!

Christmas Time!
Why hello!
Since my last post things have gotten better, including the Nutrition class thing. I'm not failing! I'm not doing well either, but I guess that's okay. I was pretty stupid about my first semester of college. I'm actually skipping right now as I write this, but only because I already learned tonight's lesson in high school.
Anyway, it's finally December, my favorite time of year. Christmas is the best. I have lights up in my room, a fat snuggly cat laying by my feet, and a feeling of excitement about presents. I still can't seem to sleep in Christmas morning, and this year I'm totally getting an iPod that's not from 2005!
In other news, I was trying to wait for Susie to watch the final Harry Potter DVD, but I caved and watched it Saturday without her. I got very emotional at the end, as always.
I also saw Breaking Dawn at midnight, and it was horrible, but I loved it.
For once I'm actually looking forward to snow. It feels so right when it snows for Christmas. I'm recording The Polar Express on ABCFamily tomorrow and I cannot wait! I love that movie. I saw it in 6th grade for a field trip and cried, but then again I cry at everything.
I always feel super inspired to write a blog until I actually open the text post and totally forget what i was going to say. So I guess I'm done for now. I just want to tumble and watch Doctor Who for a while.

Currently reading:
Percy Jackson Book 5 (STILL!), and some book of poems that I bought at an antique store. It's an old library book and the last time it was checked out was 1922!
I don't think I'm going to make my goal of 40 books by the end of the year. I'm going to try and borrow some books from Susie and Sherri and at least get to 30.

2:07am
It's very late and I really don't need to be blogging, but I can't go complain to my tumblr at the moment so I'm here instead.
Usually my tumblr is filled with any/all of my thoughts even if they're personal, but it's not exactly like these are my thoughts. I'm upset because I think I'm failing nutrition, I never get enough sleep, I'm constantly annoyed by dad and louise, and my job is pretty boring. But all of these things are almost nothing compared to the shit other people have to go through constantly.
Today I had a nice dinner with most of my family, and I played video games and watched Doctor Who and just felt content.
But then I read my best friend's post on tumblr, and I feel like I should say something, but I don't know what. And I want to help, and I look at everyone I know on facebook happily caring about stupid things, and I think they're so ignorant because they don't understand what life is like when it is actually hard. They think the worst thing that can ever happen is that they got their phone taken away for a week when they were 12 or something. And this all sounds hypocritical because my life is rarely too difficult; I'm generally a very happy person. But the fact that my best friend is having such a difficult time and I didn't even notice or ask kills me. There's so much going on that I'm not even aware of and I don't know what to do.
I guess for now I'll settle with going to sleep.

My LIIIIIIIIIIFE
(because i'm logged in)
WASSUP?
No really I can't be doing this I have to get up for work in 8 hours.
I only have a few things to say though.
1. I suck. I fail. I am the worst. I am only at 3600 words in my NaNoWriMo. UGH. FAIL. It's truly terrible, but I'm hoping I'll get back into it. I at least know who my main characters are; I'm just having trouble showing who they are to the reader. It's a lot more difficult than I thought it would be.
2. I finished series 2 of Doctor Who last week. Even though I knew what happened to Rose due to spoilers on Tumblr, I cried like a baby. Just, that show, ugh, it makes me so sad all the time!
3. I bought the final Harry Potter on dvd and wanted to cry due to leftover emotions from the previous night (see above: Rose Tyler). I also bought series 6 p2 of Doctor Who and a Doctor Who shirt! I'm pretty excited about it.
4. Today Susie and I bought tickets to see Breaking Dawn at midnight. But like, I hate Twilight. Yet the 14 year old in me still loves it so I go see them and buy the dvds every year. ~Laaaame~
But whatever, no classes tomorrow night, just me, susie, and obscure Twilight quotes until we go see the new one. Today I sent her "Charlie: famous ladies man", "You're like a drug to me", and "I'd rather die than stay away from you". Oh my god, it is truly awful.
Tomorrow I plan on texting her an obscure Breaking Dawn quote, in which Edward says "fetus" all like eeewww.
Yep I am hilarious.
I can't remember why I'm posting this. I had SOMETHING to say besides all that nonsense.
Oh well.

Quick Update!
WOO I turned 18! Then we lost power and I didn't have work all day until today. And school's been canceled and it's canceled tomorrow too. Hopefully Friday also xD
Anyway I don't have much else to talk about.
Well, I do, but I don't exactly have time. I'm doing NaNoWriMo this month. I'm already at 962 words.
A few random things:
1. The novel I'm working on is a mix of all the ideas I've been having for like 2 years and I'm amazed that I didn't try combining them before.
2. I had a wonderful birthday
3. I got a 92 on my sociology exam woooo!
4. I just made an on-the-go with christmas music on it and i'm listening to polar express and LOVING IT
5. i saw hpdhp2 deleted scenes today and loved them and i hope more get released whenever the extreme ultimate awesome possum edition gets released (dvd out in 9 days though!)
okay i need to stop procrastinating and just write a novel!
no booklist today cuz i'm too lazy to copy and paste plus i still haven't read anything new :(
