It's been a while

I always manage to skip a month or so between posts.
Lots has happened since June.

Let me start with the end of my childhood: July 15th, when the last Harry Potter film was released.
An "in-depth"-ish review of the movie can be found here. I saw it in 3D about a week later. It really felt like my childhood was over, and it still does.
The actual day of July 15th, I was an emotional wreck. Every little thing made me cry. My dad called saying he got a new bed frame and that I wasn't keeping my old bed; I wept for 10 minutes.
I moved out of my house which I'd lived in since I was born.

I applied/got in to college and am registering for classes next week. I'm trying my best to find a job. It's been difficult but I'm pulling through.

Susie and I have been watching Skins all summer. We've watched 3 episodes of series 4 and at the moment I'm having trouble remembering what made me hate it so much. It is so beautiful. Also, Susie mentioned how Effy is kind of crazy, and it took all I had not to laugh because she's not wrong. Effy is craycray. hehe.

Sherri and I have been watching Veronica Mars and Doctor Who. It's been fun. I love both.
Also I watched Winter's Bone and loved it. Also Parks and Rec. I guess this past month has been tv/movie themed.

In other news, my mom, Sherri, Sarah, and I went to a state park and hiked to a waterfall which we sort of swam in. I just kind of stood in it. The next day a bird fell in through the car window and died under Sarah's butt. I was sobbing because laughing wasn't even a good enough reaction to how hilarious it was. We also saw 2 creepy clowns. Is it the apocalypse?
Soon after, my mom, Sherri, and I tried to go tubing in a river nearby. I took a raft and followed Sherri down some rapids. While she wooshed right over them, I went backwards and hit my left side on a big rock and almost drowned. That was fun. My leg is still sore.
After that I saw Bon Iver in concert with Sherri. It rained like crazy but it was still awesome. Their music is really beautiful.

It was an eventful week. This week I've just been on the computer or begging for a job or watching tv. I feel pretty useless. I've been trying to write more. I like to write especially on rainy days, which I heard are coming on Sunday and Monday.

Okay, it's almost 1am and I'm supposed to be up early tomorrow to finish getting my stuff from the old house. Then I'm going to drop off Sarah at my mom's. Maybe I'll get something done for once.

Love from your newest High school graduate

 eyyyy.
So quick update on my liiife and stuff:

I don't know if I ever mentioned prom, but that was super fun. I danced for most of the night.
I graduated on Friday. I only cried twice and only a little bit. Getting my diploma was very exciting.

The weekend before that I went to cape cod with the sibs and emily. We had a lot of fun.
Then that Wednesday I missed my math exam and had to make it up like 2 hours later.

After graduation we had the grad party until 4:30 am. Our cafeteria didn't even look like jhksjhkjfh I don't know. It was like a Hawaii themed thing. We danced a lot, went on fun inflatable bouncy things, dressed up/took pics, used the oxygen bar (weirdness), and emily and like 12 other people got hypnotised. It was hilarious.
Then em and i went to dennys for breakfast. I wasn't really hungry at 5:30am though so it wasn't very good. Then I finally went to sleep at 6:30 am until like 3pm. Wooo.

I guess not much else has happened since then.
Susie and I started series 3 of Skins together yesterday. I hope she ends up loving cook because i just don't like freddie. -_-
Oooh I also bought City of Fallen Angels and The Last Olympian yesterday. I just started CoFA. It's okay. Nothing too interesting has happened yet... but it's only been 2 chapters sooo.
I need to preorder my HP tickets soon as well! Can't wait but I also don't want it to be over! But I guess there's always Pottermore.
Oh and Emily texted me a little while ago saying that she swears she saw either nathan fillion or his clone at LC hahaha.

ONE MORE THING. Currently obsessed with Marina and the Diamonds. Amazing amazing amazing. That is all.

3 days

HEY.
So I'm graduating high school in 3 days. I hate thinking about the fact that it could have been 4 days ago but now since we got 7 snow days it will be this Friday. I have only my math final left, then band practice and graduation rehearsal and then I'll be done with high school forever.
Part of me is excited, but mostly I'm terrified. I still have to apply to community college and find a job, and the whole thing feels impossible at the moment. I am going to do it though. It's just kind of hard.

Not too much has happened recently. One of my best friends got married in Texas, but I couldn't be there. I'm happy for her though.
I've been reading a lot. I need to take a trip to the library again soon.
Been totally obsessed with Veronica Mars. dfjkhsdfjk
We went to Cape Cod for the weekend. I got horrible sunburn but it was still a lot of fun.
Also the last Harry Potter movie ever is coming out in just a few weeks. I hope I get my tickets soon. This is the thing I've been waiting for. 10 years just whoosh gone on by. Crazy.

Alright I'm not really in the mood for this so I'll just go.
Bye :D

So wow it's been two months

Oh hey. Last time I was in the mood to blog I couldn't log in because they were changing the website or something.

So, quick rundown of my life since April:
My band trip was SO fun. We won a lot of awards and got stuck in a lot of traffic on the way home, but we did a lot in NYC and Philly (including seeing Memphis on broadway, which was amazing). I tweeted a ton of pictures to my twitpic (/photos/spacie21).
Then the next day I bought Deathly Hallows and watched Percy Jackson (meh) and Haunting in CT (actually surprisingly good). Um, then I guess I went to school and did whatever. Nothing exciting.

The same goes for May. Only a few things happened. I caught up with Skins finally, and I also got Susie to watch it with me. We're in the second series now. Ew Sketch's episode is next; I kind of hate her. I also went to senior prom and it was sooo fun. Seriously. I loved it.

Then I marched my last memorial day parade ever. And now I'm graduating high school two weeks from today. Dundundunnnn. Part of me is so excited, and the other part is wearing graduation goggles. I'll live.

Oooh, I started The Mortal Instruments series a few weeks back, and read up to book 3 of percy jackson. TMI isn't written well really but I still like it. I'm loving the people they cast as Clary and Jace. But ugh I finished te second book today and it sucks because you want jace and clary to be together but they're brother and sister and you feel weird for shipping them a little. UHDkjhasdkjha.

Okay, I think some other stuff probably happened since I last posted but I'm terrible at remembering things so this will have to do.

Books read:
1. Othello by William Shakespeare
2. This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen
3. The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
4. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
5. Maximum Ride: School's Out...Forever by James Patterson

8. Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins
9. The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton
10. A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess
11. Maximum Ride: Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports by James Patterson
12. The Final Warning by James Patterson (Started reading Max but just couldn't finish it. Global Warming? Really?)
13. Percy Jackson Book 2 by Rick Riordan (Favorite book so far)
14. City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
15. Percy Jackson Book 3 by Rick Riordan (Second favorite book so far xD)
16. Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress by Dia Sijie
17. City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare

That time my last post consisted of 2 sentences...

Okay that sucks. I wrote out a whole thing...

The thing I mentioned ("I just took this") was a which Skins gen2 character are you quiz. I like taking quizzes before watching something (I am such a geek sometimes) so I'm not biased and can answer truthfully. Haha. So I got Naomi, Effy, and I think maybe Emily as the highest percentages. I guess I see it a little, but not much. So speaking of Skins, that is my new obsession. I'm already in series 4 but only watched 2 episodes because now I'm trying to wait for Susie to catch up. We're going to watch the pilot together tomorrow night.
I've been watching tons of interviews with the gen2 cast, and I love them! Lily Loveless is so funny; I actually "LOL" every time she says just about anything. So yeah skins skins skins i love it. my favorite characters are tony, michelle, cassie.chris, effy, naomi, cook, and emily. <33333

OKAY.

In other news, Deathly Hallows comes out on dvd this Friday. I'll be on my band trip but hopefully I'll buy it on Sunday when I get home. I'M SO EXCITED ABOUT IT. I saw a commercial yesterday and was like ahhhhhhh!

Also they casted the hunger games. at first i was sad (and every time i see an old graphic with my dream cast i still get sad) but now it's cool. they're good actors so I'm sure it'll be good. maybe.

It was in the 70s yesterday and i took a nap in the sun and got dj tanner ;D
Susie and I went to the park and went on the swings. Then I found out Sarah has swine flu and I'm hoping I don't catch it.
Tomorrow I am going to the library. I'm hoping to get Maximum Ride: The final warning and Max, as well as the movies The haunting in CT,percy jackson, and the outsiders. Fines due stopped us from getting these things on friday. :P

I feel like I had so much to say but I'm tired and thinking of going upstairs to watch an episode of Skins.

In short, the weather has been nice, I'm days away from officially picking a college, I have mostly high Bs or As in my classes,I might get my permit next week, I love Skins (and still HP of course), I have been wanting to or actually swearing more often because of watching too many shows with swears in them (my mom was right about shows influencing you i guess), and I'm obsessed with Radiohead's In Rainbows as well as any songs I heard on Skins.

Right. That's all. BYEYEYEYYE

Oh hai spring

Well it's been a month. My interview went well. I've been accepted to 3 out 4 schools and am still waiting to hear back from the last one. I'm looking for a job and hopefully getting my permit soon.
It was my sister's birthday recently and everyone got her Batman stuff.
I finished The Hunger Games series and cried like a baby. ABC Family released new Deathly Hallows stuff and it was very exciting.
I started Veronica Mars last week and we're on disc 2 of season 1 right now. I'm really starting to like it. Sherri and I think it's Lily's mom who killed her. :O
I have homework and no cable in my room so I'm going to watch Angel or Firefly of X2 on dvd. Super lame. I've been really tired lately and less hungry. Maybe it's the change of seasons. Who knows?

I was really disappointed about who they cast as Katniss for the hunger games movie. I'm sure her acting's fine; she just doesn't look like Katniss to me. I'm sure I'll get over it.

I finished The Cape and was sad to see it go. I ship Vince and Orwell quite a lot. It sucks because no one stuck with the show long enough for it to get good (which was in the last 4 episodes). Le sigh.

Hmm. I don't think much else has happened. I'll try to blog more. I've been busy. I don't know how an entire month passed by. It's spring now! Except it might snow tomorrow night and we might even get our 8th snow day, which means we'll get a day taken from April Break. But screw it, I'm not going in ONE day during break. That'd be super lame.
I'm trying to get really good grades so I can skip finals and take my vacation in Cape Cod. Hopefully it all works out.

Alright, I'm going going going gone.
PEACE!
